We’re calling for help from the people of Perth to catch thieves stealing large quantities of flowers and foliage from Kings Park.

Over the past year, more than 28 significant thefts have been reported with thousands of cuttings of banksia, eucalyptus blossoms and other species stolen. It is believed the flowers and foliage are being sold commercially.

The thefts are damaging Kings Park’s beautiful displays and are having an impact on the natural environment of the Park.

You can help by asking your florist to ensure they are sourcing flowers from reputable suppliers.

Please report any suspicious behaviour in the Park to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or to our Park Management Officers on 0418 923 973.

Visitor reminder

Under BGPA Regulations, an infringement may be issued if the driver of a vehicle does not remain within Kings Park's boundaries.
